FOUNDATION COURSE IN SERIGRAPH PRINTING / Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio de Serigrafía Artística

 

This foundation Course in Serigraph Printing prepares professionals to master serigraph printing in all the varieties, coordinating and managing the productive process in companies dedicated to signaling, billboards, decorated ceramic, textile marking, adhesive commercial stickers, advertising articles, labeling etc. It also gives you the skills to work in Graphic workshops.

 

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESS

In order for students to enroll in Foundation Course in Serigraph Printing the must have GCSE or have passed the equivalent studies as well as passing a specific test.

 

EXEMPTION FROM THE SPECIFIC ENTRANCE EXAM

You are exempt from taking the exam either you have passed a Foundation Course or Higher National Degree within the same professional group or you have passed the common courses in Applied Arts and artistic profession belonging to the studies established by the Decree 2127/1963, 24th July, as well as the established studies by the Royal Decree 799/1984, 28th March which runs experiences in artistic teaching centers as well as by Royal Decree 942/1986, 9th May, which establishes general rules to perform educational training in educative centers.

Furthermore you are exempt if you have one of the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Architecture Degree, Industrial Design Degree, Degree in the field of Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage.

 

ADMISSION WITHOUT ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

In order to enroll in a Higher National Diploma candidates under 17 years old who are not in possession of the former academic requirements must pass both a specific and a general test.

 

BASIC REFERENCE NORM

Royal Decree 1387/1995 4th August, which establishes Foundation Course in Serigraph Printing, Higher National Degree in Engraving belonging to the professional group of Book Applied Arts and minimum standards are approved.

Royal Decree 658/199, 19th April; establishes the curriculum and regulates the specific admission exams to the Foundation Courses in plastic and design arts belonging to the professional group of Book Applied Arts.
